Electrical Engineer — devices & embedded-systems clients

Onsite/hybrid — Scottsdale, AZ · Boston, MA · Dallas, TX · San Mateo, CA · $110,000–$150,000 a year · Full-time

Nilus Talent is a boutique sourcing agency. This is a pool posting: we're sourcing electrical engineers for device and embedded-systems teams at client companies, and one application covers the family of roles we're actively filling — not a single seat.

The work: design embedded mixed-signal circuitry via schematic capture and team with PCB design engineers on layout. Develop test methods and validation plans; bring up, characterize, and debug circuits with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers; develop automated test sequences in Python; support regulatory compliance testing (FCC, CE, IEC); and partner with NPI on production functional test fixtures. You'd collaborate day to day with firmware engineering to develop and debug embedded electronic systems. These are onsite lab roles at client hub sites.

What we look for: a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar engineering discipline; 3+ years of industry experience in hardware design and test; proficient schematic design skills with Altium or Cadence/OrCAD; hands-on proficiency with electronics bring-up, characterization, and debug using lab tools; familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB; familiarity with EMI/ESD filtering and protection techniques; and basic scripting (Python or similar) to automate data collection, testing, and documentation. Power supply design or RF experience helps but isn't required — readiness is what we check.

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 a year. That's the band across the client teams we source for; where a given role lands in it depends on the client, your level, and geography.

The process has 4 steps. Apply below — it takes about 2 minutes, and there's no cover letter. We send you one link to a readiness check that adapts to what you already know. You choose whether to share your results with us. If you finish strong, we put you forward to hiring teams.

We're a sourcing agency, and we'd rather be plain about what that means: completing the readiness check places you in our submission pool. We don't guarantee interviews or placement. The preparation is free and yours to keep, whatever happens.
